Nearly 3 years ago we launched a lawsuit against Manos Antonakakis under the Open Record laws of Georgia, to compel the production of documents relating to the Alfa Bank allegations, YotaPhone allegations, DNC hack attribution and more.
Despite overwhelming case law and clear statutory language, the case was derailed in the trial court. It was dismissed, and we were sanctioned for $54,000 in fees. The Appeals Court then affirmed the dismissal, citing no case law.
After getting certiorari, we went to the state Supreme Court and won a unanimous opinion last summer.
Since August of last year, we have been sitting in the Appeals court, waiting to be sent back to the trial court. That has finally happened.
Our case against Antonakakis will now proceed.
In the coming weeks and months we will start discovery, with the benefit of what we have learned in the past few years.
That discovery should be an engaging process. We know you are ready for that.
Hell yeah. The glacier of truth inches forward.
