Russiagaters Suggest Trump Staged Attack With Putin's Help
This deranged message was emailed to reporters in the hours following the assassination attempt. This is the type of behind-the-scenes lawfare that goes on, and I applaud the journalists that exposed it.
Russiagate broke too many journalists and most accepted narratives at face value, and the fact that someone could think they had relationships with journalists to even make these suggestions is emblematic of that. There has been an abdication of responsibility in journalism that we hope is being remediated.
May God bless President Trump and the innocent victims of yesterday’s attack, and may it be a reminder to all of us to say everything we need to say to loved ones before our time is through.
