I try to provide a weekly update of what I am up to. Tonight, I’ll look ahead to a few projects.
We now have 3 lawsuits ongoing. Two against the Department of Defense and the FBI for FOIA’s, and one against Mr. Antonakakis under the Open Records laws of Georgia. Records in the first case vs. the DOD are expected back this week, the AUSA has told me.
I have somewhere around 30-40 FOIA’s still out there that I haven’t filed lawsuits for. I try to put in a few every week to keep the pipeline going. I recently FOIA’d the FBI for records on Dagon and Antonakakis. Given that we know they assisted in investigating the hack of the DNC and that is public, they shouldn’t keep those records classified anymore. It’s public knowledge now.
I have also been negotiating with a private individual’s attorneys for an open records request for several weeks now, and I am going to hire another private investigator to help work on these efforts.
It doesn’t sit well with me that Georgia Tech appears to be paying hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal expenses for guys who won’t comply with open records requests or destroyed all the records they had, if the lawyer’s representations are to be believed. Filing another lawsuit might bring some clarity.
It also bothers me that they haven’t dropped the prosecution against the GRU agents accused of the DNC hack. At the very least, it should be remanded back to the grand jury.
They know Dagon and Antonakakis had some role in the attribution for the hack. If a source who came to the sleuths is correct, they know that Rodney Joffe had a critical role in the attribution (presumably through the deployment of internet sensors he maintains). That is plenty damning to bring the case back to the grand jury. Exclude everything they touched, can they still bring a case against the GRU agents? Is AG Garland sitting on it until after the midterms?
Beyond all that, there are a few answers I want to focus on:
Susan Landau was one name Sussmann provided to the FBI of a cybersecurity expert who supported the Alfa Bank allegations. She has extensive ties to the Obama White House. I would like to pin down her involvement in the scheme.
Obviously Stefan Halper has been out there as a question for a long time. More and more, it doesn’t feel like a conspiracy that abused government resources, it actually feels like a conspiracy that included government resources. I’m wondering if he was actually just recruited by some element in the US intelligence community.
I suspect much of the problem runs through DARPA and the DOD. There is much less scrutiny, budgets are never cut, and you have a reluctance to bring heavy handed oversight. I am looking for the tie in that leads back to Clinton. One of these DARPA/DOD personnel is going to have the right connections to show they were a witting part of the scheme.
DARPA isn’t just a research arm of the DOD, it has ties everywhere. The CIA, NSA, CyberCommand and for some reason, the FBI/DOJ routinely pass down investigative assignments.
We have the discrepancy out there based on FOIA’s that the great Margot Cleveland and I were getting in the spring, showing that Antonakakis wrote that he was tasked by DARPA to look at Guccifer 2.0, which DARPA denied. I think the Rhamnousia program was actually under the Air Force, and was administered by Naval Research. It’s possible he was actually doing work on the hack for them.
I have a FOIA in at the Air Force to try to find out more.
I would also like to find out what President Obama knew. I can picture a scenario where Clinton was up to dirty tricks, and Obama began to hear reports of what she was doing (like the Brennan memo we’ve seen). There’s no doubt in my mind that he would’ve called her up at some point. That’s only logical.
Picture the post-election period. Hillary had to have been scared out of her mind.
When everything was crumbling and collapsing, and then we had that inexplicable drive to push the investigation forward between December 2016 and January 2017, was that President Obama? There are clear indications of a command and control structure that seems to be behind the decisions around that timeframe. We need to know.
The NSA has tie-ins everywhere obviously. They supposedly alerted the FBI to the first hack of the DNC (by Cozy Bear), and had other evidence of the hack by Fancy Bear. But, does it all rely on data provided by Rodney Joffe? Is there any independent system with evidence?
We talked about the October 7 2016 official DNC hack attribution statement not relying on anything from Crowdstrike. What did they use? NSA material? CyberCommand data? Rodney Joffe? It’s a mess folks.
Beyond all that…
I am really hoping to make it to the Danchenko trial to do some live coverage on Truth Social/Rumble. It’s a little up in the air right now, between some PTO schedules and the expected cost of depositions. I think you guys would prefer that I depose an extra person than head to the trial, so I am leaning in that direction.
I do expect an extensive number of additional indictments, you won’t be able to keep me away from the next trial.
More FOIA’s, lawsuits, and research ahead.
A connection I’ve wondered about that hasn’t been written about much: Glen Simpson Fusion GPS wife Mary Jacoby. Her dad Jon Jacoby has worked for the Stephens Family in Arkansas for years. Billionaires Stephens Inc and Stephens Group. A Jacoby son works there too I believe. Warren Stephens financed Bill Clinton’s Pres campaign. They spent millions opposing Trump for Republucan Pres nominee until he won it. I find it almost impossible Jacoby (and Stephens) would not know about what his daughter and son in-law were up to. Crowdstrike connection.. Stephens invested in Kabbage 2011 and Santander InnoVentures. George Kurtz Crowdstrike is on international advisory board Santander. Side note David Bonderman TPG Diane Weinstein’s husband also invested in Kabbage. I could go in but a bit of research I’ve done.
