Tonight, we saw motions from both Durham and Danchenko. Most of it was pretty standard, but one section did pop out.
This tantalizing clue seems to indicate there is something substantive to their communications that will be relevant for Russiagate.
The indictment offered some insights to the relationship, stating:
It’ll be interesting to learn if Dolan and Galkina understood they were feeding information to Danchenko for political purposes and a smear campaign.
FWIW, Dolan is someone with close ties to the Clintons, but there have been no concrete indications thus far that the Clinton campaign had knowledge of what information Dolan was feeding Danchenko, with the indictment stating as much:
If such evidence is found, it might be the final piece of what Durham needs to charge a conspiracy, assuming recent media reports on Durham shutting down are wrong.
P.S.
I’m sorry things have been a little slow, I have been spending much more time researching/working on a few things instead of writing. I have some deeper stuff coming soon, and I will have a couple interesting FOIA’s back before the election.
I still don’t have a good handle whether the reports on Durham are correct or not. There are reasons it could go either way.
Given what we know, it would be very troubling to see Durham shut down, especially with a likelihood he has failed to pierce privilege on emails related to Joffe and Fusion GPS. There are apparently 200+ emails between Joffe and Obama, I doubt Durham has gotten those. It would be a real shame if he finishes and leaves us with unanswered questions.
If Garland is pressuring him as reporting subtly indicates, someone has to step up and put a stop to it.
Do you think Durham is strangely painting the FBI as a victim and, in doing so, risking another acquittal?
