About the DNC Hack...
We have talked about this quite a bit, and it hasn’t developed outside of our corner yet. Information continues to emerge on the role that some of the same cyber researchers connected to the Alfa Bank hoax played in attribution for the hack of the Democratic National Committee.
I have continued to develop information from sources and documents that supports what we have broken.
It’s an explosive answer to the riddle of John Durham and what he has been doing. It may even explain his statement on predication now almost three and a half years ago.
It’s quite remarkable that it hasn’t been picked up by others, because we have references to work on the hack of the DNC in documents we have shared - it’s not like this is all resting on anonymous sources. I assume some prominent left-leaning journalists already know what we know, but they haven’t reported it for one reason or another.
People around these researchers certainly know.
This is where my lack of formal education or experience in journalism hurts our story. I don’t have that veteran mentor to bounce ideas off of while I pursue this.
I can tell I have been knocking on the door of something big, because threats have continued to increase, and I’ve started being followed and watched at various points for a few days at a time.
I certainly want to be careful. I don’t want to ever get something wrong, especially with the stakes so high.
I am willing to accept there may be important nuances to this, and that is also part of the reason why I cannot jump more forcefully into this. This is something likely to be highly classified, because keep in mind, this attribution was done without any evidence from Crowdstrike or the DNC servers themselves. Whatever intelligence or cyber capabilities are apparently involved, there may be a reluctance to reveal them.
I have multiple independent sources saying the same things.
But we might have to wait until this breaks open and settle for an “I informed you thusly.”
And so goes the struggle.
